Pilates Group Lessons
Upside-Down Pilates Group lessons incorporate the fundamentals of Upside-Down Dance & Pilates, increasing strength and flexibility through the whole body in Pilates based exercises. Upside-Down Pilates group lessons consist of flowing workout that may incorporate the reformer, Cadillac, chair, ladder barrel, spine corrector, arc barrel, balance ball, foam roller, weighted ball, rolling ball, magic circle and bosu.
The group lessons are taught in a six week series format and each lesson builds on from the previous lesson. Members can register for group lessons at anytime during the series for their appropriate group level or lower level classes. The USDP Single Group/Personal Practice membership is good for one month after the date of purchase, and the USDP 6, 12, & 24 Group/Personal Practice Memberships are good for 6 months from the date of purchase.

How To Schedule Group Lessons
Step 1: Log into Upside-Down Pilates Member Page here: Member Website
Step 2: Scroll down to USDP Group/Personal
Step 3: Choose your desired membership
Step 4: Once you have purchased your membership, click the “Calendar” tab and find an open class time. Group classes are labeled in red.
Step 5: Go to the very right-hand column, this displays how many spaces are left in the class. If you are a new member, you must register for Level I group classes.
Step 6: If there are spots left, reserve a spot! If not, sadly you will need to find another class for that week.
Class Level Descriptions:
Teaches the fundamentals of Upside-Down Dance & Pilates and introduces Reformer/Cadillac/Chair/Pilates Arc exercises. We will explore the use of breath, spinal articulation, pelvic and shoulder stability and mobility, head and cervical spine alignment, as well as focus and control through Reformer/Cadillac/Chair/Pilates Arc based exercises.
Reviews the fundamentals of Upside-Down Dance & Pilates, and introduces hip, knee, ankle, and foot alignment as well as shoulder mobility and stability. In level II, we increase strength and flexibility through the whole body in Reformer/Cadillac/Chair/Pilates Arc based exercises.
Reviews shoulder mobility and stability and hip, knee, ankle, and foot alignment. Level III challenges strength and flexibility throughout the body, while incorporating coordination through Reformer/Cadillac/Chair/Pilates Arc based exercises.
Upside-Down Pilates Open Level Group classes are flowing workouts that may incorporate the reformer, Cadillac, chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, arc barrel, balance ball, foam roller, weighted ball, rolling ball, magic circle, bosu, and experimental anatomy. This class explores the use of breath, spinal articulation, pelvic and shoulder stability and mobility, head and cervical spine alignment, as well as focus and control through Pilates based exercises. This is a series of lessons that is based upon the collective level of each class. Your teacher will choose the best piece of equipment for the students and may change it from week to week.
We do have Levels IV, V and VI for all pieces of equipment, however they are only done in Solo Lessons. This is where you begin to learn handstands, splits upside-down on the Cadillac, and so forth.
